Hubbard Glacier

Hubbard Glacier…for those that say Glacier Bay is the best choice to view glaciers, I would have to differ. Although there are more of them to see in Glacier Bay, Hubbard with it’s ice field’s ahead of it is spectacular. As you will see in the photos, we were able to see and hear some thunderous calving while freezing to death taking photos on the deck and balcony for over four hours. There really wasn’t much else that went on today. After we passed the Regent Seven Seas Navigator going in as we were leaving, we went to a flower arranging class in the Culinary Theater (which is pretty spectacular in itself) and then watched the movie we got the other night “Airplane” and laughed and laughed over the stupid thing. I am going to post this and then tomorrow we are in Juneau and it’s our float plane trip so there will be a lot to tell tomorrow.

Pretty pictures of the glacier. Have fun flying in Juneau. That is also where we took our flight from. Terrible tragedy Thurs. night in Saratoga,Ca. at the Swell season concert. Guy committed suicide by jumping three stories and landing on the stage three feet from Glen Hansard. The Swell Season is my favorite group who we just saw last Sat. night in Co. Sue had her picture taken with him there
